For over a half century in Chicago, from the 1880's through the 1940's, Rawson & Evans, P.Pause & Co. and Western Sandblast manufactured the most elaborate and beautiful ornamental glass signage ever made. Their stunning combination of glue chipping and acid etching, gilding and silvering have made these signs valuable collectors items.
